Research Progress on Tea Plant Germplasms,Breeding,and Biology during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period

"十四五"期间,茶树资源育种与茶树生物学研究迎来前所未有的发展机遇,并取得一系列研究成果与进展.文章简要总结了"十四五"期间茶树种质资源保存保护、茶树起源驯化、资源鉴定评价与优异资源发掘、茶树基因组及优异基因发掘、优异性状形成机制解析、育种芯片研发、品种选育等方面取得的主要进展,分析了当前研究中存在的关键问题,并对未来研究方向进行了展望,以期为茶树资源育种与茶树生物学研究提供参考.

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period,research on tea plant germplasm resources breeding and tea plant biology has encountered unprecedented development opportunities and achieved a series of research outcomes and progress.This paper provides a concise summary of the key advancements made during this period in areas such as the conservation and preservation of tea plant germplasm resources,the origin and domestication of tea plants,resource identification and evaluation as well as the discovery of superior resources,tea plant genomics and the identification of excellent genes,the elucidation of mechanisms underlying superior traits,the development of breeding chips,and cultivar breeding.It also analyzes the critical issues present in current research and offers prospects for future research directions,aiming to provide a reference for further studies in tea plant resource breeding and biology.
