Against the backdrop of globalization,China is actively advancing its strategy of opening up education and building itself into a leading sporting nation.Consequently,building the"Study in China"brand and capabilities in sports has become a crucial lever for national strategy.Based on policy orientation and practical needs,this article systematically explores the inevitable choices and proper pursuit associated with this endeavor.The study finds that"Study in China"in sports is an inevitable choice for adapting to the national strategy of becoming a sporting power,enhancing international competitiveness,promoting the internationalization of the sports industry,facilitating Sino-foreign sports and cultural ex-changes,meeting the growing demand for international student enrollment in China,and establishing a global hub for sports science and technology innovation.Specific pathways include:centering on traditional sports like martial arts to highlight Chinese characteristics;constructing an internationalized curriculum system and strengthening the teaching facul-ty;deepening international cooperation and expanding exchange platforms;improving the international student service sys-tem and scholarship schemes;and enhancing brand promotion through multi-channel online and offline approaches.Future efforts should further integrate modern educational technologies,optimize curricula and faculty,expand the international cooperation network,and enhance the brand's global influence.This article aims to provide strategic support for the inter-nationalization of sports education in China,contribute to cultivating sports talents with an international perspective,pro-mote Chinese sports culture globally,strengthen China's discourse power and influence in the global sports arena.
