20世纪中叶李巷村民俗家具研究

[Objective]Through the investigation and record of the old furniture in Lixiang Village,Jiangning District,Nanjing,the characteristics of folk furniture in Jiangnan area in the 20th century were analyzed and summarized in the form of individual cases.[Methods]The 93 pieces of folk furniture donated by the villagers in the last century during the establishment of the Red cultural Education Base in Lixiang Village were recorded by means of artistic anthropology field investigation.At the same time,dimensional mapping and villagers'interviews were conducted.Using multiple evidence method and comparative research method to discuss the characteristics of The Times of folk furniture in Li Xiang Village.[Results]1.Local materials.The folk furniture of Li Xiang village does not see the traditional mahogany materials,but mostly the local beech,elm and other wood.2.Special styles.The folk furniture of Li Xiang Village has some styles that are rarely seen in the existing data,such as the high leg cupboard with hollow layer.3,compared with traditional mahogany furniture,folk furniture has little improvement in structural shape,but the level of surface treatment such as grinding and carving technology has declined.4.More and more functional drawers.5,the practice of imitating bamboo with wood appeared on the tables and chairs.6.A structure similar to a modern seat appeared on a small chair.7,the large cabinet is more square corner cabinet,rare rounded corner cabinet.8,most of the furniture feet are very high from the ground,because it is affected by the environmental climate and humidity.[Conclusion]In the 20th century,the folk custom furniture in Jiangnan area continued the modeling technique of the furniture of Ming and Qing dynasties,maintained the characteristics of simple and practical,and developed slowly with the development of society.Different from the Shanghai style furniture of the same period,it is less influenced by foreign culture.
