The modernization of the rule of law in lifelong education provides a fundamental safeguard for building an inclusive and accessible lifelong education system and advancing the national strategy of developing a leading country in education.Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law,this modernization follows a four-dimensional logical system in terms of theoretical foundation,value orientation,institutional development,and practical im-plementation.At the level of theoretical logic,it provides the fundamental principles of the rule of law in lifelong education and consolidates the theoretical foundation of the socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics.At the level of value logic,it establishes a people-centered approach,together with fair-ness,justice,equality,and freedom,as its core value orientation.At the level of institutional logic,it develops a coherent framework that integrates poli-cy guidance with the legal system for lifelong education under socialism with Chinese characteristics.At the level of practical logic,it adheres to the social-ist path of the rule of law with Chinese characteristics,advances evidence-based legislation in lifelong education and law-based governance in education,and enhances the modernization of lifelong education governance.Together,these four interrelated dimensions constitute both the theoretical support and the practical pathway for the modernization of the rule of law in lifelong education,reflecting the organic unity of theoretical innovation,institutional confi-dence,and practice-oriented development.
