Long span bridges are the control nodes of transportation infrastructures,and their health diagnosis and treatment activities are the important parts of the operation and maintenance process.The ultimate goal of the evaluation of health diagnosis and treatment level for long span bridges was focused on,and an indication system of health diagnosis and treatment level was designed and proposed.First,with comprehensively con-sidering the characteristics of the whole process of health diagnosis and treatment of long span bridges,the framework hierarchy of the indication system was established,and the specific evaluation objects were di-vided.The evaluation dimension of the indication system was proposed and established.Then,the principles of indicator selection were formulated.The evaluation indicators were determined and the specific characteriza-tion indicators were refined.The weights of each layer's parameters were determined through questionnaire survey and literature researches.The quantitative calculation of the indication system was realized by the ana-lytic hierarchy process method.Finally,the indication system of health diagnosis and treatment level for long span bridges was constructed.The establishment of this system is conducive to fully leveraging its roles in evaluation and guidance,providing a fundamental and comprehensive evaluation system for the research on preventive maintenance and targeted treatment of long span bridges in China,and promoting rapid and healthy development of health diagnosis and treatment for long span bridges.
