中医药通过介导铁死亡干预血管性痴呆的研究进展OA

Vascular dementia(VD)is a cerebrovascular disease mainly characterized by cognitive dysfunction.Its onset is closely related to pathologic factor such as chronic hypoperfusion,oxidative stress and neuroinflammation.Ferroptosis is a regulatory cell death driven by iron-dependent lipid peroxidation and plays a key role in VD,among which iron metabolism disorder is one of the core pathological mechanisms.Traditional Chinese medicine has demonstrated an overall advantage multi-target regulation in the prevention and treatment of VD.However,the specific mechanism by which traditional Chinese medicine regulates ferroptosis to intervene in VD still needs to be systematically summarized.This article systematically reviews the mechanisms by which traditional Chinese medicine compound formulas,individual active components of traditional Chinese Chinese medicine,and acupuncture therapy inhibit neuronal ferroptosis and improve cognitive dysfunction through regulating key signaling pathways such as cystine/glutamic acid transporter(System xc-)-glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4),nuclear factor E2-related factor 2(Nrf2)-heme oxygenase-1(HO-1).The aim is to clarify the mechanisms by which these methods inhibit neuronal ferroptosis and improve cognitive function,providing scientific basis and research ideas for the prevention and treatment of vascular dementia by traditional Chinese medicine.
