人口变化趋势下高职院校办学条件达标机制研究OA

Financial support is a critical condition for higher vocational colleges to improve their educational capacity,and maintaining a certain scale of enrolled students is the fundamental prerequisite for securing funding.However,a blind pursuit of student quantity and scale may lead to problems such as increased investment in supporting resources and heavier management cost burdens.Based on nearly a decade of development data from a specific higher vocational college,this study employs descriptive statistics,correlation analysis,and DEA input-output analysis to investigate factors influencing the attainment of school-running standards.The findings indicate that per-student funding is positively correlated with standard indicators such as the student-faculty ratio,per-student teaching and administrative floor area,per-student value of teaching and scientific research equipment,and per-student book holdings.However,a continuous increase in the student-faculty ratio is not only associated with failure to meet school-running standards but also accompanies a decline in the operational efficiency of higher vocational colleges.In the new era context of a downward population trend,reasonably controlling student scale,placing high emphasis on distinctive school-running characteristics,and focusing on the high-quality development of educational capacity should become the substantive factors for higher vocational colleges to secure funding.
