The first volume'Xuanfu theory'of LIU Songyan's Muke Jiejing is the first special chapter on LIU Wansu's Xuanfu theory in ancient times.He created the'Sanjiao Xuanfu theory',which takes Sanjiao as the framework,Zangfu as the core,Xuanfu as the channel,and qi,blood,water and fire as the raw materials,forming a syndrome differentiation and treatment system that combines both theory and method,bases on the whole and pays attention to the local area,providing a new idea for the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmology.However,there is not enough attention to this in the field of traditional Chinese medicine,and there is no special article for in-depth study.This article systematically discusses the theoretical connotation and practical value of'Sanjiao Xuanfu theory'from six aspects,including system construction,visual physiology,pathogenesis,treatment methods,prescription selection and medication,contraindications,in order to provide reference for the deepening of LIU Wansu's Xuanfu theory and the clinical application of ophthalmology.
