Touch Surgery在耳鼻喉科规培生鼓膜切开置管教学中的应用研究OA

Objective To explore the application of Touch Surgery,a smartphone applica-tion,in the teaching of myringotomy with tube insertion for otolaryngology residents.Methods A to-tal of 40 otolaryngology residents in rotation were selected and randomly divided equally into two groups,with 20 students in each group.The experimental group received an integrated teaching mode combining traditional teaching methods with the Touch Surgery,while the control group was taught using a case-based traditional teaching approach.Both groups had the same duration of basic course study and otolaryngology training.After the training period,students were assessed on both theoretical knowledge and surgical skills,with their exam results evaluated on a percentage basis.Results There was no significant difference in theoretical scores between the two groups[(77.8±10.63)vs.(76.3±10.22),P=0.652].Compared with the control group,students in the experimental group had a shorter learning time for surgical procedures and achieved a higher level of proficiency[(78.05±8.99)vs.(69.45±10.37),P=0.008].Conclusion The teaching mode that integrates tradi-tional teaching with Touch Surgery can shorten the training period,enhance students'confidence and practical skills,and improve the training effectiveness of learning otolaryngology surgical procedures.
