Progress in the diagnosis and treatment of myelodysplastic neoplasms
骨髓增生异常肿瘤(myelodysplastic neoplasms,MDS),既往称骨髓增生异常综合征(myelodysplastic syndromes,MDS),是一组起源于造血干细胞和(或)组细胞的髓系恶性肿瘤,以骨髓无效造血、持续性难治性血细胞减少及高风险进展为急性髓系白血病(acute myeloid leukemia,AML)为特征.近年来,随着分子生物学技术的快速发展与应用,MDS在诊断、分类、预后评估及治疗策略上均取得了突破性进展,精准诊治理念开始融入临床实践中,逐步改变着MDS的诊治模式.文章对MDS分类更新、预后评分系统优化及治疗领域的进展作一评析,旨在指导临床医生对MDS的科学认识和管理.
Myelodysplastic neoplasms(MDS),also known as myelodysplastic syndromes,are a group of hematopoietic malignancies originating from hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells.They are characterized by ineffective hematopoiesis,persistent refractory cytopenia,and a high risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia(AML).In recent years,with the rapid development and application of molecular biology techniques,significant breakthroughs have been made in the diagnosis,classification,prognostic assessment,and treatment strategies of MDS.The concept of precision medicine has gradually integrated into clinical practice,leading to changes in the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to MDS.This article discusses the updates in MDS classification,the optimization of prognostic scoring systems,and advancements in the treatment field,aiming to guide clinicians in the scientific understanding and management of MDS.
