Research Progress on Low-Temperature Stress Tolerance in Pepper

低温是影响辣椒冬春季设施生产和早春栽培的重要限制性因素,不仅影响种子萌发、幼苗生长、开花坐果和果实发育等过程,还影响膜系统稳定性、叶绿体结构和光合功能等.本文对低温胁迫下辣椒的伤害表现、响应低温胁迫的生理和分子调控机制、耐低温品种的选育与农艺调控途径等方面的研究进展进行了综述,并对未来的研究进行了展望,以期为辣椒耐低温机制解析、种质资源筛选和抗逆育种提供参考.

Low temperature is a major limiting factor for protected cultivation of pepper in winter and spring as well as early-spring field production.Low temperature impairs multiple developmental processes including seed germination,seedling growth,flowering and fruit set,and fruit development;it also disrupts membrane system stability,chloroplast structure and photosynthetic performance.This paper reviews research advances regarding low-temperature injury symptoms in pepper,physiological and molecular regulatory mechanisms underlying pepper responses to low-temperature stress,the breeding of low-temperature-tolerant cultivars,and agronomic regulation strategies.Prospects for future investigations are also proposed,aiming to provide references for dissecting low-temperature tolerance mechanisms,screening low-temperature-tolerant germplasm resources,and facilitating stress-resistant breeding in pepper.
