Current Status and Development Suggestions for Tail Rotor Shaft Folding Mechanism Technology in Shipborne Helicopters

通过尾轴折叠机构使尾传动轴随尾梁同步折转,可减小舰载直升机停放时的外廓尺寸,缓解舰面和机库空间受限的问题.围绕舰载直升机尾轴折叠技术,归纳国内外相关机构的演进过程与工程应用情况,对端齿式、弧齿式两种构型的结构特征和使用性能进行比较,分析现有端齿式方案的主要不足.在此基础上,结合技术发展方向,提出推进弧齿式折叠机构关键技术研究并完善设计验证能力的建议,为后续舰载直升机传动系统升级提供参考.

By means of the tail rotor shaft folding mechanism,the tail drive shaft can be folded synchronously with the tail boom,thereby reducing the overall dimensions of the shipborne helicopter when parked and alleviating the space constraints on the deck and in the hangar.Focusing on the tail rotor shaft folding technology for shipborne helicopters,this paper summarizes the evolution and engineering application of related mechanisms both domestically and internationally,compares the structural characteristics and operational performance of the two configurations—the end-tooth type and the arc-tooth type,and analyzes the main shortcomings of the existing end-tooth type solutions.On this basis,combined with the technology development trends,suggestions are proposed to advance the key technology research of the arc-tooth type folding mechanism and to improve the design verification capability,providing a reference for the subsequent upgrading of shipborne helicopter transmission systems.
