Influence of Cutting Parameters on Milling Performance of TC11 Titanium Alloy Curved Surfaces

利用单因素控制变量法进行 TC11 钛合金曲面铣削实验,研究切削速度、每齿进给量、切削深度和行距 4 个独立因素对曲面铣削的切削力、切削温度、表面质量的影响.试验结果表明:每齿进给量是径向合力的主要影响因素,切削速度影响最小.每齿进给量对切削温度的影响最大,切削深度对切削温度影响最小.表面粗糙度的主要影响因素是行距,采用较小的行距及较大的每齿进给量可获得较低的表面粗糙度值,在切削速度V=80 m/min,每齿进给量fz=0.04 mm/z,切削深度 ap=0.25 mm,行距 ae=0.1 mm 时,铣削的表面质量较好.

Using the single-factor control variable method,curved surface milling experiments on TC11 titanium alloy were conducted to investigate the effects of four independent factors—cutting speed,feed per tooth,cutting depth,and stepover—on cutting force,cutting temperature,and surface quality during curved surface milling.The experimental results indicate that feed per tooth is the main influencing factor on the resultant radial force,while cutting speed has the least influence.Feed per tooth has the greatest impact on cutting temperature,whereas cutting depth has the smallest influence.The main influencing factor on surface roughness is stepover;a smaller stepover combined with a larger feed per tooth can achieve lower surface roughness.Better surface quality is obtained under the cutting parameters of V=80 m/min,fz=0.04 mm/z,ap=0.25 mm,and ae=0.1 mm.
