Rapid Simulation of Electromagnetic Scattering Characteristics of Chaff Clouds Under Monostatic and Bistatic Detection

文章提出一种结合空气动力学运动模型与电磁散射模型的建模方法,深入研究箔条云在复杂电磁环境下的电磁散射特性.通过分析箔条受力特性,建立了考虑重力、空气阻力和自旋力矩的六自由度(Six Degrees of Freedom,6-DoF)运动学模型.在电磁散射方面,通过电磁理论推导与线矩量法交叉验证,获得了单根箔条极化散射场的高精度解析模型,并构建了多姿态箔条云电磁散射模型,该模型能够快速、有效解决单双基探测下的箔条云团大规模仿真问题.进一步,通过仿真箔条云不同时刻的扩散运动状态,研究了箔条云的多普勒效应,分析了风速对箔条云频谱展宽的影响.结果表明,所提模型仿真精度的均方根误差小于2.95 dB,显著低于传统方法,且仿真速度远优于数值方法.研究可以为箔条干扰效能评估和抗干扰策略优化提供电磁散射理论基础和目标特性数据支持.

A modeling method that integrates an aerodynamic motion model with an electromagnetic scattering model is presented.This method is used to profoundly analyze the electromagnetic scattering properties of chaff clouds in intri-cate electromagnetic environments.By examining the force characteristics of chaff strips,a six-degree-of-freedom mo-tion model is established,taking into account gravity,air resistance,and spin torque.In the context of electromagnetic scattering,a high-precision analytical model for the polarimetric scattering field of a single chaff dipole is derived through rigorous electromagnetic theory and cross-validated with the method of moments(MoM).Building upon this,a multi-orientation chaff-cloud electromagnetic scattering model is developed that enables rapid and efficient large-scale simulations for both monostatic and bistatic detection scenarios.Furthermore,by simulating the diffusion motion state of the chaff cloud at different times,the Doppler effect of chaff clouds is researched by simulating their diffusion motion states at various time-periods,the influence of wind speed on the spectral broadening of chaff clouds is analyzed.Re-sults indicate that the root mean square error of the simulation accuracy of the proposed model is less than 2.95 dB,sig-nificantly lower than that of traditional methods,and its simulation speed is far superior to that of numerical methods.The research provides an electromagnetic scattering theory foundation and target-characteristic data support for assess-ing chaff-jamming effectiveness and optimizing anti-jamming strategies.
