广东某高岭土尾砂工艺矿物学研究及其高纯石英砂提纯潜力评估OA
Study on process mineralogy of a kaolin tailing in Guangdong and evaluation of purification potential of high purity quartz sand
高纯石英砂是半导体、光伏及高端光学产业不可或缺的关键原材料.为实现固体废物资源化利用,以广东某沉积岩风化残积型高岭土尾矿为原料,采用X射线衍射、X射线荧光光谱、体视显微镜及透射偏光显微镜等分析手段,系统表征其工艺矿物学特征,并通过"擦洗-磁选-浮选-酸浸-煅烧-二次酸浸"工艺评价其提纯潜力.结果表明:原矿中+0.25 mm粒级样品具有二氧化硅含量高、脉石矿物含量低的特点,可作为制备高纯石英的优选原料;经联合工艺处理后,得到的石英精矿中二氧化硅纯度达99.98%(3N8),总杂质质量分数降至187.03 μg/g,其中铝、铁质量分数分别为94.79、8.50 μg/g,符合JC/T 2314-2015《光伏玻璃用硅质原料》相关要求.然而,石英颗粒内部残留的微米级固体包裹体是制约其纯度进一步提升至4N5水平的主要因素.该高岭土尾矿具有制备高纯石英砂的良好潜力,但要得到更高纯度产品,需进一步研发针对固体包裹体的靶向深度去除工艺.
High-purity quartz sand is an indispensable key raw material for semiconductor,photovoltaic and high-end optical industries.In order to realize the resource utilization of solid waste,a sedimentary rock weathering residual kaolin tailings in Guangdong was used as raw material,and its process mineralogy characteristics were systematically characterized by analysis means of X-ray diffraction,X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy,stereomicroscope and transmis-sion polarizing microscope.The purification potential was evaluated by the combined process of'scrubbing-magnetic separation-flotation-acid leaching-calcination-secondary acid leaching'.The results show that the+0.25 mm fraction sample in the raw ore has the characteristics of high silica content and low gangue mineral content,which can be used as the preferred raw material for the preparation of high purity quartz.After the combined process,the purity of silica in the obtained quartz concentrate is 99.98%(3N8),and the total impurity mass fraction is reduced to 187.03 μg/g.The mass fractions of aluminum and iron are 94.79 μg/g and 8.50 μg/g,respectively,which meet the requirements of JC/T 2314-2015"Silicon raw materials for photovoltaic glass".However,the micron-sized solid inclusions remaining inside the quartz particles are the main factors restricting the further improvement of its purity to 4N5 level.The kaolin tailings have good potential for preparing high-purity quartz sand,but to obtain higher purity products,it is still necessary to further develop a targeted deep removal process for solid inclusions.
