Geological Characteristics of Phosphate Ore Metallogenesis and Current Development and Utilization in Hunan Province
湖南省磷矿矿床成因类型主要为海相沉积型,成矿严格受地层和岩相古地理控制,主要赋存于上震旦统陡山沱组和下寒武统牛蹄塘组.空间上形成湘西北、湘中(浏阳-沅陵-新晃一带)和湘南三大聚磷区.陡山沱组磷矿(以"石门式"为代表),形成于碳酸盐台地环境,矿石品位高、规模大;牛蹄塘组磷矿则与黑色页岩系共生,虽以中低品位为主,但共伴生有碘、稀土、钒、钼、镍、铀等多种有益元素,综合利用价值巨大.目前,湖南省磷矿开发利用面临多重严峻挑战:浅部资源日益枯竭,开采转向深部地下,成本与风险增高;矿石具有"贫、细、杂"的特点,导致选矿难度大、回收率偏低;共伴生资源综合利用水平不足,矿山生态环境压力突出;产业结构以初级产品为主,附加值偏低.面向未来,应着力加强深部找矿、攻关综合利用技术、推动产业绿色转型和产业链延伸,以实现可持续发展.
The phosphate deposits in Hunan Province are mainly marine sedimentary phosphorite deposits,which are strictly controlled by stratigraphy and lithofacies paleogeography and predominantly hosted in the Upper Sinian(Ediacaran)Doushantuo Formation and the Lower Cambrian Niutang Formation.Spatially,they form three major phosphate accumulation zones in northwestern Hunan,central Hunan(the Liuyang-Yuanling-Xinhuang area),and southern Hunan.The Doushantuo Formation phosphate deposits(represented by the"Shimen type")were formed in a carbonate platform environment,characterized by high ore grades and large scales.In contrast,the Niutang Formation phosphate deposits are associated with black shale series;although they are mainly of medium to low grade,they are accompanied by various valuable elements such as iodine,rare earths,vanadium,molybdenum,nickel,and uranium,offering significant potential for comprehensive utilization.At present,the exploitation and utilization of phosphate resources in Hunan Province face multiple severe challenges:shallow resources are increasingly depleted,pushing mining operations to greater depths with rising costs and risks;the ore is characterized as low-grade,finely disseminated,and complex,leading to difficulties in beneficiation and low recovery rates;the comprehensive utilization of associated resources is insufficient,and the ecological pressure from mining activities is prominent;moreover,the industrial structure is dominated by primary products with low added value.Looking to the future,efforts should be focused on strengthening deep prospecting,making breakthroughs in comprehensive utilization technologies,and promoting green industrial transformation and industrial chain extension,so as to achieve sustainable development.
