基于基尼系数的广东省水资源与经济人口空间均衡性研究OA

Spatial equilibrium is an important aspect of water management thinking in the new era.This study investigates the spatial equilibrium and matching between water resources and the population economy in Guangdong Province,utilizing water resources statistical data from 2000 to 2024.Eight commonly used evaluation indicators were selected and categorized into three groups:water resource endowment,water use intensity,and water use efficiency.The Lorenz curve and Gini coefficient were employed to analyze the data.The results demonstrate that these methods can intuitively and accurately characterize the spatial equilibrium of water resource endowments and development/utilization indicators.Guangdong Province possesses abundant and relatively well-balanced natural water resources.However,due to its large population and the highly uneven distribution of these resources,the per capita availability of water is below the national average,leading to significant regional disparities.While the overall water resource development and utilization rate remains relatively low,the rates in some cities within the Pearl River Delta are alarmingly high,significantly surpassing the established warning threshold.The per capita domestic water consumption in Guangdong Province exceeds the national average and exhibits an upward trend.The findings of this research can serve as valuable references for the planning,utilization,optimal allocation,conservation,and protection of water resources in Guangdong Province.Furthermore,this study enriches both the theoretical framework and practical applications in the field of water resources spatial equilibrium.
