人工智能作为数智化新动能,重构了企业ESG建设的技术基础与底层逻辑,对企业智能化、绿色化、融合化发展具有深远影响.文章基于2011-2024年1352家中国A股上市公司的面板数据,以国家新一代人工智能创新发展试验区政策为准自然实验,运用多期DID模型研究人工智能赋能企业ESG建设的影响效应与作用机制.结果表明,人工智能显著促进了企业ESG建设,在经过一系列稳健性检验和内生性检验后,该结论依然成立.传导机制检验结果表明,人工智能融合劳动者、劳动资料和劳动对象,并通过云计算技术、大数据应用和管理费用率对企业ESG建设发挥促进作用.异质性分析结果表明,人工智能对高科技行业企业、非国有控股企业、低融资约束企业和东部地区企业ESG建设的促进效应更强.

As a new digital and intelligent driving force,artificial intelligence reconstructs the technical foundation and un-derlying logic of corporate ESG construction,and exerts a profound influence on the intelligent,green and integrated development of enterprises.Based on the panel data of 1352 China A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2024,this paper takes the national pilot zone policy for the innovative development of a new generation of artificial intelligence as a quasi-natural experiment and adopts the multi-period DID model to study the effect and action mechanism of artificial intelligence empowering corporate ESG construction.The results show that artificial intelligence significantly promots corporate ESG construction,and this conclusion still holds after a series of robustness tests and endogeneity tests.The results of the transmission mechanism test show that artificial in-telligence integrates laborers,means of labor and objects of labor,and plays a promoting role in corporate ESG construction through cloud computing technology,big data application and administrative expense ratio.The results of the heterogeneity analy-sis indicate that artificial intelligence has a stronger promoting effect on the improvement of ESG ratings of enterprises in high-tech industries,non-state-controlled enterprises,enterprises with low financing constraints and enterprises in eastern re-gions.
