The high-quality development of ice and snow sports has become an important issue in the new era,as China seeks to advance both the building of a leading sporting nation and ecological progress in a coordinated way.Taking the concept of ice and snow as invaluable assets as the point of entry,this paper adopts literature review and logical analysis to examine the value logic behind this idea,and on that basis discusses the prac-tical difficulties and improvement paths for the high-quality development of ice and snow sports in China.The study shows that this concept provides a basic guide for development by stressing ecological priority,national functions,and value generation.At present,China's ice and snow sports have made progress in participation scale,facility construction,and industrial expansion.Even so,some constraints remain clear,including weak conver-sion from participation to sustained involvement,unbalanced venue distribution,limited industrial-chain extension,mismatch in talent supply,and insufficient regional coordination.In response,this paper proposes several paths,including improving participation conversion,optimizing the spatial layout of venues,extending the industrial chain,improving the talent cultivation mechanism,and strengthening regional coordination.The aim is to build an overall framework for the high-quality development of ice and snow sports in China and to provide sustained momentum for the upgrading of the ice and snow economy and more balanced regional development.
