Preservation Effect Analysis of Langya Chicken Hens Based on Their Growth Curve

为评估国家地方鸡种基因库(江苏)保存的琅琊鸡种质资源的保种效果,采用Logistic,Gompertz和Bertalanffy非线性生长曲线模型,分别对2019年和2022年2个世代的琅琊鸡保种群母鸡体重变化情况进行拟合.结果表明:2个世代体重拟合度(R2)均≥0.996,其中Gompertz模型拟合效果最佳,R2分别为0.997和0.998,该模型预测2个世代拟合的极限体重分别为1 967.965 g和1 896.725 g,拐点周龄为6.184周和6.321周,试验结果符合琅琊鸡的保种目标和实际生产情况.在地方鸡种保种过程中,可根据生长曲线特征对保种群体实施科学合理的饲养管理,监测保种效果.研究结果为地方鸡种资源保护、开发和利用提供科学依据.

In order to evaluate the preservation effect of the populations in National Chickens Genetic Resources(Jiangsu),three nonlinear growth models,Logistic,Gompertz and Bertalanffy,were used to fit the growth of hens in two generation Langya chicken preservation population in 2019 and 2022.The results showed that the body weight fitting degrees(R2)of three models in the two generations of hens were all above 0.996.According to the R2 values of 0.997 and 0.998,the Gompertz model had the best growth fitting effect in Langya chickens.The asymptotic body weights fitted for the two generations of hens were 1 967.965 g and 1 896.725 g.The turning point age were 6.184 weeks and 6.321 weeks.The results were consistent with the actual situations of the preservation and production in Langya chickens.In summary,in the process of local chicken preservation,the population can be scientifically and reasonably fed and managed.And the preservation effect can be monitored based on the characteristics of the growth curve.This study provides a scientific basis for the protection,development and utilization of local chicken genetic resources.
