Acid reflux,a common digestive disorder in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)clinical practice,primarily stems from liver and stomach disharmony and ascending counterflow of stomach Qi.Professor WEN Daiwei developed Hewei Jiangni Formula through decades of clinical practice,which effectively addresses the pathogenesis and clinical features of acid reflux due to liver and stomach disharmony.This paper analyzes Professor WEN's academic philosophy and examines the etiology and pathogenesis of this condition,the formulation principles and modifications of Hewei Jiangni Formula,modern pharmacological validation,and case studies.By integrating classical TCM theories with clinical practice,this paper summarizes the experience of Professor WEN in treating acid reflux,aiming to provide references for TCM diagnosis and treatment and facilitate the inheritance and innovation of experience of famous TCM doctors.
