Carrying out the prevention and control of mountain flood disasters is an important decision made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council.Defending against mountain flood disasters is a challenging and vulnerable aspect of flood prevention and disaster mitigation efforts.Frequent,widespread and recurrent mountain flood disasters triggered by heavy rainfall often resulted in damage to engineering facilities and losses of people's lives and property.To enhance mountain flood disaster prevention,water conservancy departments at all levels have organized the key mountain flood areas within their jurisdictions to carry out the governance work,based on the principle of prioritization.Taking the governance of the Dalang River mountain torrent gully in Baofeng County as an example,this article elaborately discusses the plan for mountain flood disaster prevention and control,providing references for others.
