At present,deep groundwater serves as a vital water supply source for residents in Luyi County.The reliance on this single water source severely restricts sustainable economic and social development.It is imperative to accelerate the governance of groundwater over-extraction and the replacement of deep water sources,while strengthening the management and protection of groundwater.Based on the analysis of the current status,causes,and hazards of groundwater over-extraction in Luyi County,this article systematically proposes comprehensive management measures and strategies,and elaborates on the effectiveness of the groundwater over-exploitation control.The aim is to provide scientific reference for achieving the balance between groundwater extraction and replenishment,and promoting regional sustainable development in Luyi County.
