The Two Integrations is not only a crucial approach to adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times,but also a core mechanism for the formation of an independent Chinese knowledge system.From the perspective of knowledge production,transforming the Two Integrations from a principled exposition into an analytical category helps reveal its functional chain in the formation of the knowledge system.The First Integration resets the starting point,driving force and evaluation standard of knowledge production through practice anchoring,problem orientation and practice verification.The Second Integration enables traditional culture to evolve from ideological resources to the process of concept construction through modern reinterpretation of historical semantics,theoretical transformation of value structure and academic expression of cultural and civilization resources.The two integrations are not simply parallel superposition,but are mutually embedded in the mechanisms of problematization,concept translation,theoretical proposition generation and discourse expression,promoting the transformation of Chinese experience from factual materials into iconic concepts,proposition networks and knowledge structures.Taking Chinese modernization as the analytical object in the formation of an independent Chinese knowledge system,the paper finds that iconic concepts are not single term innovations,but the outcome of knowledge production under the joint effect of Chinese practice,theoretical principles and civilization resources.
