中文摘要

At the beginning of the 20th century,French vice-consul Souliéde Morant came to China and trained in traditional Chinese culture and medical knowledge. He is known as the“Father of Acupuncture in Europe”.Based on his personal works, correspondences, video materials and other physical and electronic historical materials, combined with his diplomatic career and life trajectory in China, this paper reconstructs the inheritance and innovation of acupuncture in France. As a sinologist,Souliéfacilitated the collision and integration of acupuncture with the French medical system, facilitated the first acupuncture consultation in Western hospitals,co-founded the first acupuncture clinic in France, drew the first meridian acupuncture points and muscle anatomy charts, published a series of acupuncture works such as L’Acuponcture Chinoise(Chinese Acupuncture),and finally shaped the current French mode of acupuncture medical knowledge system.
