Dear Editor,Dera et al.1 report that neutrophil-to-lymphocyte(NLR)and monocyte-to-lymphocyte(MLR)ratios differ across fasting-glucose and HbA1c strata in 3545 Saudi adults,concluding that these indices“could serve as valuable indicators”of dysglycemia.Although the dataset is sizeable,several issues temper that inference.
