The industrial industry-education integration community represents an institutional innovation in the construction of the modern vocational education system.As a new organizational form integrating cross-regional,multi-stakeholder and multi-element industry and education resources,it possesses educational,public and industrial attributes simultaneously.It has four core characteristics:diversified stakeholders with leading organizers,cross-regional resource integration,in-depth integration of industrial and educational elements,and standardized physical operation.It undertakes four major functions including precise matching of industrial and educational supply and demand,collaborative cultivation of technical and skilled talents,collaborative innovation in industrial technologies,and co-construction and sharing of teaching resources.To steadily advance the development of such communities,it is essential to improve physical operation mechanisms,perfect policy support for industry-education integration,strengthen school-enterprise collaborative talent cultivation,and optimize monitoring evaluation and performance management.
