The Blow-up of Solutions to a Class of Wave Equations with Damping and Memory Terms

研究n维外区域上含有弱阻尼和组合记忆项的波动方程的初边值问题.引入乘子抵消弱阻尼项带来的干扰;通过构造能量泛函、选取合适的检验函数及搭建递推迭代序列证明了在不同维数下,方程解在有限时间内发生爆破,并给出生命跨度的上界估计.

This study investigates the initial-boundary value problem for a weakly damped wave equa-tion with composite memory terms in an n-dimensional exterior domain.A multiplier is adopted to off-set disturbances from weak damping.Via energy functional construction,proper test function selection and recursive iterative sequence formulation,finite-time blow-up of solutions is verified for various spatial dimensions,alongside an upper bound estimate of the solution lifespan.
