Research on Pollution Characteristics and Health Risk Assessment of VOCs in the Air of Hetan Expressway Traffic Corridor in Urumqi
为研究交通源挥发性有机物(VOCs)对城市空气质量及公众健康的影响,于2025年3月—12月在乌鲁木齐市河滩快速路旁设置1个固定采样点,采用苏玛罐采样与气相色谱—质谱联用法对116种VOCs进行四季监测.结果表明:共定性检出81种VOCs,总浓度范围为19.55~44.08 μg/m3.监测期间VOCs总浓度呈现冬季最高、夏季最低的显著季节变化,主要与冬季逆温频发、大气边界层压低及机动车低温燃烧效率降低污染物排放增加有关.烷烃是TVOCs的最主要组分(贡献率30.2%~43.2%),烯炔烃和芳香烃次之.示踪污染物解析表明:甲苯/苯比值及甲苯/3-甲基戊烷的比值均与机动车尾气源谱吻合度较高,证实VOCs主要来源于机动车尾气.臭氧生成潜势(OFP)为36.99~127.61 μg/m3,冬季最高,其中烯烃贡献47%~65%,乙烯最为突出.健康风险评估显示,各季节非致癌危险指数(HI)均小于1,但冬季苯的终生致癌风险达2.39×10-6,超过可接受水平(1×10-6).研究揭示了河滩快速路VOCs的污染特征,为交通污染精准防控提供了科学依据.
To investigate the impact of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)from urban traffic on air quality and public health,a fixed sampling site was established adjacent to the Hetan Expressway in Urumqi from March to December 2025.The 116 VOCs were monitored across four seasons using Summa canister sampling coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).The results showed that 81 VOCs were qualitatively detected,with total VOC(TVOCs)concentrations ranging from 19.55 to 44.08 μg/m3.A significant seasonal variation was observed,with the highest TVOCs concentration in winter and the lowest in summer,primarily attributed to frequent temperature inversions,a lower atmospheric boundary layer,and increased pollutant emissions due to reduced combustion efficiency of motor vehicles at low temperatures.Alkanes were the dominant group,contributing 30.2%~43.2%of TVOCs,followed by alkenes/alkynes and aromatics.Tracer pollutant source apportionment indicated that the toluene/benzene ratio and the toluene/3-methylpentane ratio were highly consistent with the source profile of vehicle exhaust,confirming that VOCs were mainly derived from vehicular emissions.The ozone formation potential(OFP)ranged from 36.99 to 127.61 μg/m3,peaking in winter,with alkenes contributing 47%~65%and ethylene being the most prominent contributor.The health risk assessment showed that the non-carcinogenic hazard index(HI)for all seasons remained below 1;however,the lifetime carcinogenic risk of benzene in winter reached 2.39×10-6 exceeding the acceptable level(1×10-6).This study characterized the VOC pollution profile along the Hetan Expressway and provided a scientific basis for precise prevention and control of traffic pollution.
