In recent years,the Russian academic community has achieved significant breakthroughs in the study of China's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,particularly in research para-digms,themes,and perspectives.The Russian academic community is making concerted efforts to correct Eurocentrism,employing a global historical perspective to elucidate China's strategic positio-ning and world significance as the Main Eastern Battlefield.From the intertwined perspectives of na-tional interests,Far Eastern security,and international collaboration,they conduct in-depth analy-ses of the complex interactions among the CPC,the Soviet Union,and the Comintern,revealing the strategic considerations and power games behind the Soviet Union's aid to China.While continuing to deepen research in traditional fields such as military history,wartime figures,and diplomatic histo-ry,the Russian academic community has also broadened its focus to encompass issues such as na-tional identity,Sino-Japanese relations,and war trauma,demonstrating a distinct"memory turn."From the macro-level framing of a global historical perspective,through the lens of the bilateral re-lationship between China and the Soviet Union,to the social and cultural examination of the con-struction of war memories,these research findings not only outline the intellectual trajectory of Rus-sian research on China's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,but also highlight the world historical significance of China's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.
