基于皮格马利翁效应的护理干预在急性白血病患儿初次PICC置管化疗期间的应用OA

Objective To explore the effects of nursing interventions based on the Pygmalion effect in school-age children with acute leukemia undergoing initial PICC placement for chemotherapy.Methods A total of 140 children with acute leukemia who underwent initial PICC placement for chemotherapy in the Hematology&Oncology Department at Dongguan Children's Hospital from January 2023 to October 2024 were selected by convenience sampling.They were divided into the control group(n=70)and the intervention group(n=70)according to their admission sequence.The control group received routine care,while the intervention group additionally received nursing interventions based on the Pygmalion effect.The two groups were compared in terms of psychological state,treatment compliance,self-efficacy and quality of life on Day 7 of intervention,using the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),a self-developed compliance questionnaire,General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES),and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Leukemia(FACT-Leu).Results On Day 7 of intervention,the intervention group showed lower SAS and SDS scores(P<0.05),higher treatment compliance scores(P<0.05),and higher GSES and FACT-Leu scores than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of nursing interventions based on the Pygmalion effect in school-age children with acute leukemia undergoing initial PICC placement for chemotherapy can effectively improve their psychological state,enhance treatment compliance and self-efficacy,and significantly promote quality of life during chemotherapy.This approach is worthy of broader clinical adoption.
