黏性泥沙含量对富粉砂床面沙纹特征影响试验研究OA
Experimental study on the effect of cohesive sediment content on sand ripple characteristics of a silt-enriched bed
粉砂含量超过60%、黏土含量低于20%的富粉砂床面广泛分布于江苏沿海,而学界针对此类床面的沙纹特征研究较少,其特征是否与现有的砂-泥混合床面相关研究成果相同尚不清晰.为弥补现有研究不足,采用4组黏性泥沙含量(8 μm以下颗粒)依次为2.1%、6.2%、8.5%、10.1%的富粉砂沙样进行单向恒定流(流速40cm/s)试验.当黏性泥沙含量较小时,富粉砂床面仍属于非黏性床面,随着黏性泥沙含量的增加,沙纹出现的时间和达到平衡状态所需的发育时间逐渐增加,平衡时其形态尺寸逐渐减小,波长和波高的平均发育速率持续降低.当黏性泥沙含量继续增加,床面形态转变为黏性床面,各参数趋于稳定.
Silt-enriched beds,characterized by silt content exceeding 60%and clay content below 20%,are widely distributed along the coast of Jiangsu province.However,studies on the ripple characteristics of such beds remain limited,and it is still unclear whether their features are consistent with the existing findings on sand-mud mixed beds.To address this gap,a series of unidirectional steady-flow experiments with flow veloci-ty of 40 cm/s were conducted using four groups of silt-enriched sediment samples with cohesive sediment con-tents(medium particles size is finer than 8 μm)of 2.1%,6.2%,8.5%,and 10.1%,respectively.The re-sults show that the silt-enriched bed still behaved as a non-cohesive bed when the cohesive sediment content is lower.With the increasing of cohesive sediment content,the initiation of ripples and the time required to reach equilibrium gradually increase,while ripple dimensions at equilibrium decrease,and the average growth rates of both wavelength and height continuously decline.As the cohesive sediment content further increased,the bedform will transform into a cohesive bed,with all parameters tending toward stabilization.
