中医药治疗血脂异常的研究进展OA

Dyslipidemia is a prevalent metabolic disorder closely associated with multiple chronic diseases and shows a trend of younger onset age.In modern medicine,dyslipidemia is recognized as a major risk factor for atherosclerosis,myocardial infarction,stroke and oth-er diseases.Statins remain the mainstay of pharmacotherapy;however,their application is restricted by adverse reactions including hepa-torenal damage and increased risk of incident diabetes.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)has unique advantages in treating dyslipi-demia,featuring syndrome differentiation-based treatment and holistic regulation,multi-component and multi-target pharmacological effects,as well as a favorable safety profile.This article systematically reviews the theoretical foundations and clinical applications of tra-ditional Chinese medicine in treating lipid abnormalities,revealing that single Chinese medicinal,compound Chinese medicinal formu-las,and patent Chinese medicines can significantly improve indicators such as total cholesterol,triglycerides,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol through mechanisms including antioxidant effects,regulation of metabolic pathways,and modulation of gut microbiota,with favorable safety profiles.Combined administration with statins delivers synergistic efficacy and attenuates toxic side effects.Characteris-tic TCM therapies,including acupuncture and Health Qigong,also display auxiliary therapeutic value.Despite considerable research ad-vances,several challenges still exist,including non-unified standards for syndrome differentiation,limited sample sizes,imperfect effica-cy evaluation systems,and disconnection between basic research and clinical translation.Therefore,future research should prioritize large-sample,multi-center randomized controlled trials,advance standardization of diagnosis and treatment,adopt modern technologies including network pharmacology to elucidate underlying molecular mechanisms,and tap into the unique strength of TCM's"preventive treatment of disease",so as to develop optimal regimens for the prevention and treatment of dyslipidemia.
