航天诱变对玉簪种子萌发和幼苗生长的影响OA
Effects of Space Mutagenesis on Seed Germination and Seedling Growth of Hosta
为探究航天诱变对玉簪种子萌发和幼苗生长的影响,以玉簪(Hosta plantaginea)和东北玉簪(H.ensata)的种子为试验材料,测定了航天搭载种子和未处理种子发芽特性和早期幼苗生长情况.结果表明,航天诱变促进玉簪种子萌发,玉簪种子的发芽指数提高6.7%,发芽系数提高6.3%,与对照种子间存在显著差异.航天辐射能明显提高东北玉簪种子的发芽速率,东北玉簪种子的发芽指数提高9.5%,峰值提高29.6%,日平均发芽率提高12.1%,发芽值提高45.1%,发芽系数提高10.0%,活力指数提高10.1%,与对照存在极显著差异.航天辐射对玉簪早期幼苗生长影响较小,生长指标均无显著差异.东北玉簪航天诱变与对照株系的株高、叶长、叶宽和叶面积等指标差异达极显著水平.航天诱变促进东北玉簪早期幼苗生长.综上,航天诱变使玉簪和东北玉簪的种子活力发生变异,但二者对航天诱变的敏感度不同,东北玉簪更敏感.
To investigate the effects of space mutagenesis on seed germination and seedling growth of Hosta,seeds of Hosta plantaginea and H.ensata were used as experimental materials.The germination characteristics and early seedling growth of space carrying seeds and untreated seeds were determined.The results showed that space mutagenesis promoted seed germi-nation of H.plantaginea,with the germination index increasing by 6.7%and the germination coefficient increasing by 6.3%,showing significant differences compared with the control seeds.Space radiation significantly improved the germination rate of H.ensata seeds,with the germination index increasing by 9.5%,the peak value increasing by 29.6%,the daily average ger-mination rate increasing by 12.1%,the germination value increasing by 45.1%,the germination coefficient increasing by 10.0%,and the vigor index increasing by 10.1%,showing highly significant differences compared with the control.Space ra-diation had little effect on the early seedling growth of H.plantaginea,with no significant differences observed in growth indi-ces.For H.ensata,highly significant differences were observed in plant height,leaf length,leaf width,and leaf area between the space mutagenesis and control groups.Space mutagenesis promoted the early seedling growth of H.ensata.In conclusion,space mutagenesis induced variations in seed vigor of both H.plantaginea and H.ensata,but the two species exhibited differ-ent sensitivities to space mutagenesis,with H.ensata being more sensitive.
