基于五神脏理论探析心力衰竭后认知障碍病机OA

Heart failure,as the terminal stage of various cardiovascular diseases,is frequently complicated by cognitive impairment,manifested by memory decline,attention deficit,behavioral abnormalities and other symp-toms.The theory of the Five Spirit Zang-organs holds that the five zang-organs store the five spirits,which are dominated by the five zang-organs.The heart governs all mental activities;the lung dominates instinctive sen-sations and movements;the liver governs consciousness,thinking and dreams;the spleen controls thinking,memory,and ideation;and the kidney governs willpower and memory.In patients with heart failure,the func-tion of the five zang-organs storing the five spirits is impaired,resulting in abnormalities in mental activities,consciousness,thinking,memory,ideation,instinctive sensations,movements,and dreams,which further leads to manifestations such as dementia and amnesia,namely cognitive impairment following heart failure.Based on the Five Spirit Zang-organs theory,this paper discusses the physiological and pathological connections and pathogenesis between heart failure-related cognitive impairment and the classical Five Spirit Zang-organs theo-ry.It is held that abnormalities of the five zang-organs(heart,lung,liver,spleen,kidney)and their respec-tively stored spirits(spirit,corporeal soul,ethereal soul,intent,and will)play important roles in the pathogene-sis of cognitive impairment after heart failure,providing a new approach for the Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment of this disease.
