Exuberant fire originally refers to hyperactive yang-heat qi.Physicians of past generations held that exuberant fire refers to medicinals with strong flavors,physiological fire,pathological fire,etc;Based on clinical experience,the author believes that the essence of exuberant fire is qi with predominant yang and insufficient yin,showing a relatively hyperactive image.The article also explains the theoretical connotations related to exu-berant fire,such as"Excess qi transforms into fire"and"Fire is incompatible with primordial qi".Finally this theory is applied to differentiate and treat pediatric diseases in combination with children's constitutional charac-teristics,and medical cases are attached for verification.
