First Discovery of a Large-Thick Porphyry Cu-Mo Deposit in Jiaodong:A Prospecting Breakthrough on the Eastern Margin of the North China Craton

斑岩型铜矿是战略性紧缺矿产铜的最主要矿床类型,已在特提斯与古亚洲成矿域取得重大找矿突破,但在环太平洋成矿带华北克拉通东部周缘却长期未获实质性进展.本文报道了在该区域胶莱盆地东北缘臧家庄盆地南缘香夼地区首次发现的厚大斑岩型铜钼多金属矿,实现了区域上铜钼矿床类型的重要突破.通过系统的地质调查、钻探验证与综合研究,详细阐述了该矿床的地质特征、成矿结构、勘查技术方法,并探讨了区域成矿潜力与找矿方向.结果表明:(1)已完成施工的7个钻孔显示,新发现矿体呈"上部矽卡岩型+下部斑岩型"双层成矿结构,其中下部斑岩型矿体为主体,单孔累计见矿厚度最大达191.92 m,共伴生钼、银、硫、镉、镓等多种有益组分,具有综合利用价值;(2)成矿与燕山晚期花岗闪长斑岩密切相关,矿化垂向分带明显,由浅至深呈现"铅锌矿化→铜矿化→铜钼矿化→钼矿化"的规律性变化;(3)基于成矿地质体的垂向电性结构差异,建立了"上下高、中间低"的三层电性结构模型,探索出以可控源音频大地电磁测深法为核心的有效勘查技术组合;(4)成矿物质具壳幔混合来源特征,隐伏岩体规模大,单位面积内资源赋存量大,深部及外围找矿潜力巨大.研究认为,华北克拉通东部周缘具备形成特大型斑岩型铜矿床及矿集区的潜力,并提出了"已知矿区深部及外围"与"区域成矿带"两个层次的下一步找矿部署方向.该成果不仅重塑了华北克拉通东部铜矿找矿格局,也为区域内同类矿床的勘查提供了重要的理论依据与技术示范.

Porphyry copper deposits represent the most important type of copper resources,a strategic and scarce metal.Significant breakthroughs have been achieved in the Tethys and Central Asian Metallogenic Domains,yet little progress has been made for a long time in the periphery of the eastern North China Craton within the Circum-Pacific Metallogenic Belt.This study reports the first discovery of thick porphyry copper-molybdenum polymetallic orebodies in the Xiangkuang area,located on the southern margin of the Zangjiazhuang Basin within the northeastern Jiaolai Basin.This discovery represents a major breakthrough in the type of copper-molybdenum deposits in the region.Through systematic geological surveys,drilling validation,and comprehensive research,we detail the geological characteristics,metallogenic architecture,and exploration techniques of this deposit,and discuss its regional metallogenic potential and future prospecting directions.The results indicate that:(1)Seven completed drill holes reveal a"two-story"metallogenic architecture,with skarn-type orebodies in the upper section and porphyry-type orebodies as the main body in the lower section.A single hole intersected a maximum cumulative ore thickness of 191.92 m,containing associated and by-product components like molybdenum,silver,sulfur,cadmium,and gallium,indicating significant potential for comprehensive utilization.(2)Mineralization is closely related to Late Yanshanian granodiorite porphyry,exhibiting distinct vertical zonation from shallow to deep:"lead-zinc mineralization→copper mineralization→copper-molybdenum mineralization→molybdenum mineralization".(3)Based on the vertical electrical property differences of the metallogenic geological bodies,a three-layer electrical structure model characterized by"high resistivity at the top and bottom,low resistivity in the middle"has been established.This led to the development of an effective exploration technique combination centered on the Controlled Source Audio-frequency Magnetotellurics method.(4)The ore-forming materials exhibit a crust-mantle mixed source,the concealed intrusion is large in scale with substantial resource endowment per unit area,indicating significant prospecting potential at depth and on the periphery.This study suggests that the periphery of the eastern North China Craton holds the potential to host giant porphyry copper deposits and ore concentration areas.We propose two levels for future prospecting deployment:"the depth and periphery of known mining areas"and"the regional metallogenic belt".This achievement not only reshapes the copper exploration landscape in the eastern North China Craton but also provides an important theoretical basis and technical demonstration for exploring similar deposits within the region.
