全球镍矿资源分布、成矿规律与勘查开发形势OA
Distribution,Metallogenic Regularity,and Exploration and Development Situation of Global Nickel Resources
镍是我国重要的战略性矿产之一.随着全球能源转型与绿色可持续发展的快速推进,未来全球镍的需求结构将发生重大变化,需求量预计将持续增长,供需形势日趋严峻.我国镍矿对外依存度高达85%,安全供应面临严峻挑战.在此背景下,开展全球镍矿资源分布、成矿规律与勘查开发形势研究具有重要的现实意义.研究结果表明:(1)全球镍矿资源分布高度集中.全球94.26%的镍储量集中分布于印度尼西亚(34.92%)、澳大利亚、巴西、加拿大、俄罗斯、菲律宾、古巴、中国、新喀里多尼亚、芬兰等10个国家;(2)矿床类型以红土型为主.全球镍矿床类型可分为红土型、岩浆硫化物型、海底结核型、热液型和沉积型等,其中红土型镍矿镍储量全球占比为55%,岩浆硫化物型镍矿镍储量全球占比35%;(3)全球主要镍矿成矿带有16个,其中,红土型镍矿成矿带8个,岩浆硫化物型镍矿成矿带8个;(4)勘查投资格局明确.加拿大和澳大利亚为全球最大的镍矿勘查投资国,合计占比约60%,其他主要投资国包括美国、印度尼西亚、俄罗斯、坦桑尼亚、中国、博茨瓦纳、芬兰、巴西、菲律宾等;(5)印度尼西亚是全球最大的镍生产国,2025年镍产量全球占比66.67%,成为全球镍供应的中心,深刻改变了全球镍产业链格局;(6)镍供应来源实现结构性转换.红土型镍矿已取代岩浆硫化物型镍矿成为全球镍供应的主角,2025年红土型镍矿镍产量全球占比78.97%;(7)全球镍矿矿业并购活动高度集中于加拿大和澳大利亚两国;(8)21世纪以来,全球勘查找矿新发现大型镍矿床及新发现镍资源量主要分布在印度尼西亚.
Nickel is one of China's strategic mineral resources.With the rapid advancement of global energy transition and green sustainable development,the structure of global nickel demand is expected to undergo significant changes,with demand projected to continue growing,leading to increasingly severe supply-demand dynamics.China's dependence on foreign nickel ore exceeds 85%,which has posed serious challenges to secure supply.Against this background,it is of great practical significance to study the global distribution,metallogenic regularity,and exploration and development trends of nickel resources.Results show that:(1)Global nickel resources are highly concentrated,with 94.26%of nickel reserves distributed across ten countries:Indonesia(34.92%),Australia,Brazil,Canada,Russia,the Philippines,Cuba,China,New Caledonia,and Finland.(2)Laterite-type deposits are dominant.Global nickel deposits can be classified into magmatic sulfide,laterite,seafloor manganese nodule,hydrothermal,and sedimentary types,among which laterite-type nickel deposits account for 55%of global nickel reserves,and magmatic sulfide-type for 35%.(3)There are 16 major nickel metallogenic belts worldwide,including eight laterite-type and eight magmatic sulfide-type belts.(4)The pattern of mineral exploration investment is clear.Canada and Australia are the largest investors in global nickel exploration,together accounting for approximately 60%,followed by the United States,Indonesia,Russia,Tanzania,China,Botswana,Finland,Brazil,the Philippines,and others.(5)Indonesia is the world's largest nickel producer,accounting for 66.67%of global nickel production in 2025,making it the center of global nickel supply and profoundly reshaping the global nickel industry chain.(6)A structural shift in nickel supply sources has occurred,with laterite-type nickel deposits replacing magmatic sulfide-type as the dominant global nickel supplier,accounting for 78.97%of global nickel production in 2025.(7)Global nickel mining mergers and acquisitions are highly concentrated in Canada and Australia.(8)Since the beginning of the 21st century,newly discovered large nickel deposits and newly identified nickel resources worldwide have been mainly distributed in Indonesia.
