柴达木北缘宗务隆构造带形成及演化过程OA
Formation and evolution process of the Zongwulong tectonic belt in the northern margin of the Qaidam Basin
宗务隆构造带是柴北缘北部重要的构造单元,在中生代经历了显著的构造热活动,但是关于该构造带的形成过程尚存争议.本文对宗务隆构造带东段马久尔沟一带的宗务隆山群、辉绿岩、花岗岩体和变形带糜棱岩,开展了野外调查、显微镜下及锆石U-Pb年代学研究,进一步探讨宗务隆构造带形成及演化过程.宗务隆山群中石英片岩的碎屑锆石年龄给出了约822 Ma的单峰分布,显示其原岩沉积物源来源比较单一,物源源自柴北缘地壳基底.构造带南部韧性剪切带中的花岗质糜棱岩给出了约440 Ma的形成年龄,表明该地区在早古生代时期可能卷入了柴北缘的俯冲—碰撞过程中;宗务隆山南段花岗侵入岩体的锆石U-Pb年龄集中在236 Ma左右,侵入宗务隆山群中的后期辉绿岩锆石年龄为单峰831 Ma的年龄和230 Ma的最年轻的锆石U-Pb年龄,这表明宗务隆带内基底围岩与柴北缘一致,并在早中生代时期遭受岩浆活动的改造.宗务隆山构造带内的一系列新的年龄数据进一步表明,宗务隆构造带可能与柴达木具有相似的基底组成,其在早古生代时期卷入柴北缘的俯冲—碰撞过程中,晚古生代经历了夭折裂谷发育,在中生代早期夭折裂谷关闭,形成了宗务隆构造带中生代典型的陆内造山事件.
The Zongwulong tectonic belt constitutes a significant tectonic unit in the northern segment of the North Qaidam margin and underwent pronounced tectonothermal activity during the Mesozoic.However,the genesis and evolutionary history of this belt remain controversial.This study presents field investigations,petrographic analyses,and zircon U-Pb geochronology of the Zongwulong Group,diabase dykes,granitic intrusions,and mylonites from deformation zones in the Ma'ergou area of the eastern Zongwulong belt,aiming to further constrain its formation and tectonic evolution.Detrital zircons from quartz schists within the Zongwulong Group exhibit a unimodal age distribution centered at ca.822 Ma,indicating a relatively homogeneous provenance derived predominantly from the crystalline basement of the North Qaidam margin.Biotite-quartz schists from a ductile shear zone in the southern part of the belt yield a metamorphic or protolith age of ca.440 Ma,suggesting that this region was likely involved in the Early Paleozoic subduction-collision processes along the North Qaidam margin.Granitic intrusions in the southern Zongwulong Mountains yield zircon U-Pb ages clustering around 236 Ma.Additionally,late-stage diabase dykes intruding the Zongwulong Group display a unimodal detrital zircon peak at ca.831 Ma and a youngest concordant zircon age of ca.230 Ma,collectively implying that the basement of the Zongwulong belt shares affinities with that of the North Qaidam margin and experienced magmatic reworking during the Early Mesozoic.These new geochronological data collectively indicate that the Zongwulong tectonic belt likely possesses a basement composition similar to that of the Qaidam block.It was incorporated into the North Qaidam subduction-collision system during the Early Paleozoic,subsequently underwent aborted rifting in the Late Paleozoic,and finally experienced intracontinental orogenesis in the Early Mesozoic following the closure of the failed rift-culminating in the characteristic Mesozoic intracontinental orogenic event observed in the Zongwulong belt.
