From Fragmentation to Stitching:Study on the Urban Regeneration Design for the Areas along Kunming Meter-Gauge Railway:A Case of Xinying Market Area

随着中国城市进入"存量更新"阶段,老旧米轨铁路等线性遗产空间的再生利用成为城市空间结构转型与文化延续的重要议题.文章以昆明米轨铁路沿线的新迎市场片区为例,基于空间缝合理论构建"物理缝合—功能缝合—社会缝合"三重缝合框架,探索从"割裂"到"缝合"再到"共生"的更新路径.通过实地调研、空间形态与数据分析,揭示了可达性不足、功能单一与社会隔离等问题,并提出了立体交通系统、可生长市场、社区微更新、立面功能置换与智慧媒介植入等多层次缝合策略,以实现空间连通、功能复合与社会共融.文章试图为老旧铁路片区和线性遗产空间在社区尺度下的再生提供设计范式与方法借鉴.

As Chinese cities enter a phase of stock renewal,the regeneration and utilization of the linear heritage spaces,such as obsolete meter-gauge railways,have emerged an important topic for the spatial restructuring and cultural continuity of urban spaces.Taking Xinying Market area along Kunming's meter-gauge railway as an example,the paper establishes an urban-stitching framework with three layers of physical,functional,and social stitching based on the theory of spatial stitching to explore a path from fragmentation to stitching and ultimately to coexistence.Through field surveys,spatial morphology studies,and data analysis,it reveals the problems of insufficient accessibility,functional monotony,and social isolation,and proposes multi-level stitching strategies including a three-dimensional traffic system,a growing market,community micro-renewal,façade functional replacement,and the insertion of smart media,aiming to achieve spatial connectivity,functional mix,and social inclusion.The paper provides a design paradigm and methodological reference for community-scale regeneration of obsolete railway areas and other linear heritage spaces.
