Research progress on fiber-based lithium-ion batteries

纤维状锂离子电池(LIB)凭借其轻质、柔性、可织性和伸缩性等优势,成为穿戴设备的理想储能装备之一.然而,受限于活性材料负载量较低,纤维状 LIB 的容量通常低于平面电池,且在进一步编织过程中电路连接复杂.本综述文章系统梳理了纤维状 LIB 的发展历程,总结了面临的主要挑战,并展望了该领域的未来发展方向.

Fiber-shaped lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),with their advantages of light weight,flexibility,weave ability and stretch ability,have become one of the ideal energy storage devices for wearable equipment.However,due to the low loading of active materials,the capacity of fibrous LiBs is usually lower than that of planar batteries,and the circuit connection is complex during further weaving.This review article systematically sorts out the development history of fibrous LiBs,summarizes the main challenges faced,and looks forward to the future development of this field.
