Public legal education in rural areas in the new era represents the intersection of rural revitalization and the rule of law in China.It not only reflects the continuity of national policies but also responds to the practical needs arising from social transformation.Driven by policy guidance,economic transformation,and demographic changes,legal needs in rural areas have become increasingly diverse and dynamic.The current legal popularization system faces three dilemmas:the misalignment of content and the rigidity of forms at the supply end,the attenuation of efficiency at the communication end,and the absence of a long-term mechanism at the institutional end.To address these problems,a three-pronged approach featuring precise service provision,integrated communication,and sustainable institutional support should be adopted.A dynamic database linking dispute types with legal needs should be established to facilitate the targeted allocation of legal resources.An integrated system of new media platforms should be used to promote the integration of rule-of-law discourse with local rural culture.In addition,the initiative of governance participants should be stimulated through cultivating"legal knowledgeable villagers"and improving interactive participation mechanisms.Public legal education in rural areas should move beyond the traditional one-way indoctrination model by building a long-term mechanism through institutional innovation,improving the precision of legal service provision through digital technologies,and enhancing public identification with the rule of law through integrating local rural culture into public legal education,so as to foster a new model driven by the synergy of institutional,technological,and cultural development.
