Practice of Uninterrupted Tapping Technology for No.5 Blast Furnace in WISCO
武钢有限炼铁厂5 号高炉在确保炉前设备功能和炮泥质量的条件下,优化炉前操作,提高铁口通道深度和致密度,合理规范渣铁排放制度,出铁模式由间隔出铁转变为不间断的连续出铁,高炉有效出铁和出渣时间显著延长,高炉憋风减少,风量增加,利用系数提升,炉况稳定增强,同时渣流速度和铁流速度降低,渣铁处理系统的事故风险降低.
Under the conditions of ensuring the functionality of hearth-side equipment and the quality of taphole clay,No.5 Blast Furnace,WISCO Ironmaking Plant optimized forehearth operations,increased the depth and compactness of taphole channels,and standardized the tapping and slagging regime.The original inter-mittent tapping mode was converted into uninterrupted continuous tapping.As a result,the effective tapping and slagging time of the blast furnace was greatly extended.Issues of blast holding were alleviated,while blast vol-ume and productivity coefficient were improved,leading to more stable furnace conditions.Meanwhile,the flow rates of molten iron and slag decreased,which reduced the operational risks of the slag-iron handling system.
