Specialty construction acts as a strategic pivot for vocational education to boost high-quality industrial development.As an important part of the modern vocational education system,the undergraduate level vocational education specialty construction takes professionalism and high-level attributes as its foundation,establishing high-level standards within the framework of its type characteristics;takes technical academic attributes as its core support,achieving a coupled development between technical and theoretical logic;takes service attributes as its guide,establishing education based on industry as its logical starting point.At present,the undergraduate level vocational education specialty construction continues to face practical challenges,including a deviation from objectives—with the professionalism and high-level attributes remaining unclear;unstable support structures and a weakness in technical academic attributes;and an irrational layout,resulting in insufficient demonstration of service attributes.To overcome these challenges,the undergraduate level vocational education specialty construction should be grounded in the interdisciplinary requirements of technical and vocational skills with clear objectives;innovating the mechanism of cooperation between enterprises and colleges to strengthen support;and align precisely with industrial development to calibrate the direction.This will ensure a steady supply of high-level technical and skilled talents for the development of Chinese modernization.
