Anatomic liver resection, which adheres to the principles of the tumor-bearing portal territory, is the gold standard for oncologic liver surgery, offering improved tumor clearance and reduced postoperative recurrence compared to non-anatomic resection [1, 2]. However, laparoscopic anatomic resections of posterosuperior liver segments-particularly segment Ⅶ(S7)-remain technically demanding due to deep anatomical positioning, restricted operative exposure, and variable branching patterns of the portal pedicles [3–5].
