In recent years,coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has become a global challenge.Early on,during the pandemic,it became obvious that thrombotic complications are a major cause of morbidity and mortality in COVID-19.The subsequent use of anticoagulants in acute COVID-19 treatment has significantly improved the outcomes(Schulman et al.2022).
