Liver controlling dispersion is one of the principal physiological functions of liver.After the continuous refinement and development of successive generations of physicians,a theoretical framework with"dispersion of Qi"as the core has been established.According to classical traditional Chinese medicine literature and clinical studies,this paper explores the effect of liver controlling dispersion on regulation the physiological activities of the anus and the treatment of anus diseases caused by liver disfunction from following perspectives:dredging liver to promote Qi and regulating emotions to govern anus,dredging liver and activating spleen transportation to nourish Jing and strengthen anus,dredging liver and regulating circulation and storage of blood to nourish anus,dredging liver and nourishing tendons to recover anus function,dredging liver and draining fire to maintain physiological function of anus.It is hoped to provide a reference for clinical practice.
