Study on Flowering Habits of BT-Type and Yinshui-Type Isonuclear Alloplasmic CMS Lines of Japonica Rice

采用 3 组回交 10 代以上的同核异质粳稻不育系及其保持系作为试验材料,对其单穗开花动态、日开花动态、颖壳开颖角度、柱头外露率进行观察分析.结果表明,BT型(包台型)粳稻不育系转育成印水型粳稻不育系后,其始花时间与BT型粳稻不育系基本相同.始花后,印水型粳稻不育系的日开花数量在快速增长后开始下降,然后再次增长达到开花盛期.2 种不育系的盛花期基本相同,对不育系的繁殖和杂交稻制种影响不大.印水型粳稻不育系会出现 2 个开花高峰期,这对提高异交结实率有积极作用.在花时方面,BT型粳稻不育系开花相对集中,印水型粳稻不育系开花相对分散,开花时间长.在颖花开闭时间上,2 种细胞质类型差异不明显.在开颖角度方面,印水型粳稻不育系明显大于BT型粳稻不育系.在柱头外露率方面,印水型黎陆仙A极显著优于BT型黎陆仙A,其他 2 组不育系各有优劣.因此,就开花习性而言,在北方杂交粳稻育种和生产中利用印水型细胞质雄性不育系具有可行性.

Three groups of isonuclear alloplasmic cytoplasmic male sterility(CMS)lines of japonica rice with over 10 generations of backcrossing and their maintainer lines were used as experimental materials.The flowering dynamics of single panicles,daily flowering dynamics,glume opening angles,and stigma exsertion rates of experimental materials were observed and analyzed.The results showed that after BT-type(Baotai-type)CMS lines of japonica rice were transformed into Yinshui-type CMS lines of japonica rice,the two types of CMS lines were basically the same in the initial flowering time.After the initial flowering,the daily flowering number of Yinshui-type CMS lines of japonica rice began to decline after rapid growth,and then grew again to reach the peak flowering stage.The peak flowering stages of the two types of CMS lines were basically the same,which had little effect on the reproduction of CMS lines and the seed production of hybrid rice.Two peak flowering stages existed in the whole flowering process of Yinshui-type CMS lines of japonica rice,exerting a positive effect on the outcrossing seed setting rate.The flowering time of BT-type CMS lines of japonica rice was relatively concentrated,while that of Yinshui-type CMS lines of japoncia rice was relatively scattered and lasted longer.There was no significant difference in the glume opening and closing time between the two types of cytoplasms.Yinshui-type CMS lines of japonica rice had significantly larger glume opening angles than BT-type CMS lines of japonica rice.In terms of the stigma exsertion rate,the Yinshui-type Liluxian A was extremely significantly better than the BT-type Liluxian A,and the other two groups of CMS lines had their own advantages and disadvantages.Therefore,in terms of flowering habits,it is feasible to use Yinshui-type CMS lines in the breeding and production of japonica hybrid rice in northern China.
