人工智能在伴眼震前庭性疾病中的应用进展OA

Research progress on artificial intelligence in automatic recognition of nystagmus in vestibular diseases

头晕/眩晕是前庭性疾病最常见的症状,眼震是其最具特征性的体征之一,正确识别不同类型的眼震有助于疾病的早期诊断.然而,部分医师无法对眼震结果正确判读,导致漏诊与过度治疗的现象并存.随着人工智能(artificial intelligence,AI)在医学领域的广泛应用,AI对不同前庭性疾病眼震的精确识别及检查结果的自动判读展现出巨大的潜力,为前庭性疾病的诊断与预后评估提供新的解决方案与思路.本文梳理了AI应用于伴有眼震的前庭性疾病的研究进展,并对AI辅助前庭性疾病的诊断进行展望.

Dizziness or vertigo is the most common symptom of vestibular diseases.Nystagmus is one of the most characteristic signs.Correct recognition of different types of nystagmus is helpful in early diagnosis,but it can be difficult in some cases,leading to missed diagnosis and over treatment.With increasing adoption of artificial intelligence(AI)in the medical field,it has shown great potentials for accurate recognition of nystagmus and automatic examination results interpretation in vestibular diseases.AI provides new solutions and ideas for the diagnosis and prognosis of vestibular diseases.This article reviews the research progress of AI in vestibular diseases with nystagmus and future application of AI in the diagnosis of vestibular diseases.
