上颌中切牙牙冠形态与正畸治疗后龈乳头充满度的相关性研究OA

Objective To investigate the influence of maxillary central incisor crown width-to-length ratio(CW/CL)on interdental papilla fill,and to analyze the trend of changes in papilla morphology during the early phase of orthodontic treatment in patients with different crown forms.Methods A total of 30 patients(aged 18~25 years)who visited the Stomatological Hospital of Xiamen Medical College between January and December 2024 were enrolled.Using a CW/CL ratio threshold of 0.77,patients were divided into Group A(≥0.77,17)and Group B(<0.77,13).Digital dental models were obtained using an intraoral scanner.The CW/CL,papilla height(PH),papilla width(PW),and faciolingual thickness(FLT)of the papilla were measured before treatment and at 6-month follow-up.Statistical analyses included Pearson correlation,independent t-test,and paired t-test.Results At baseline,CW/CL ratio showed a moderate to strong positive correlation with PH,PW,and FLT(r=0.409~0.726,P<0.05).All three-dimensional papilla parameters were significantly greater in Group A than in Group B(P<0.05).After six months of orthodontic treatment,no significant changes were observed in PH,PW,or FLT in either group(P>0.05).Conclusion The CW/CL of maxillary central incisors is significantly positively correlated with the height,width,and faciolingual thickness of the interdental papilla;a greater CW/CL ratio is associated with larger three-dimensional papillary dimensions.In the early stage of orthodontic treatment,papilla fill does not undergo significant alterations attributable to differences in crown form.These findings suggest that crown morphology may serve as a preliminary indicator for assessing papilla conditions;however,its long-term impact on papilla stability warrants further investigation with extended follow-up periods.
